About Us
Alki Kid's Place began on June 23, 2008 as a program of Alki United Church of Christ. Our mission is to support working families by providing safe and affordable activities for children in a caring, nurturing, spiritual environment.
Program Philosophy ~ We believe that children should be able to pursue their own interests, to explore new activities, have time to complete homework, relax, have fun, make friends, strengthen social ties and grow in spirit.
Under the direction of Cheryl Snyder, Alki Kid's Place offers a safe, caring and nurturing environment. The program engages kids aged four through fourteen in a variety of activities. We are committed to providing a spiritual environment that fosters healthy development by encouraging children to make choices, share ideas, care about and respect others and to develop caring and nurturing relationships.
Transportation ~ Alki Kid's Place does not provide transportation to our location. Parents may request bus transportation by calling the Seattle City School Transportation Department at 206.252.0900.
